Guild Wars – Desperate Measures

8 July, 2005 (19:08) | Games | By: Guise Dugal

After talking with Tink about her maybe grabbing a copy of Guild Wars I resolved to remake the Guise character, learning from my mistakes and feeding off my weapon strategy. I now know that I only need to learn the Ranger Skill Primaries and hunt to a decent level, before I start questing, and make sure I do all the secondary profession quests before I take my Necromancer path.

It took me a week or so first time around, hopefully it should be easier now I know my way around.

Just need to make sure I can get all my outfit back quick, before anyone notices in pictures.

Not bad, about 3 or 4 hours later I have :

    • Remade Guise in his old image, even down to the same skin tone and height
    • Reached Level 04 (and a half)
    • Gained no Primary Skills
    • Gained no Secondary Skills
    • Not charmed a Pet
    • All but my leather leggings back
    • 002 Quests complete

I have the clothes back, but haven’t picked up any of the old dyes. This isn’t a bad thing as I started to think that maybe brown leather and purple trim wasn’t the best mix. Now had it been black leather with purple trim…

I’m still getting XP from Worms and Devourers, which is advantageous because so far I have ventured beyond Lakeside County (the first real adventure area). I hoping I can at least get to Level 7 or 8 before hunt worthy things begin to dry up. I miss things like a Kill List about now.
