A Place To Crash…
I’ve been antsing over another entry, so instead I’d take a cheap route out while I decide on it.
It isn’t quite MTV ‘Cribs’, but I was inspired by DJ D’s recent post of 3 Groovy things in his Room and a desire to do another vlog, so I’ve done just a little tour of the disaster area known as my room. The thing is, I’m the tidy, organised one between my brother and I, so the level of obstruction is shameful to me.
I’ve actually got the network cable to move my PC and funds for the bookcases, but I can’t do anything without floor space. I also hope to get a tv and gaming console in here at some point, just so I can kill time and chill a bit more.
I want to get some pictures and photos up, I’m kind of tempted to put some stylised photo-manipulated photos of friends and loved ones, because I love certain effects that you can get.
Still, it’s a good place to crash and quite a bit of space too, which is all you can really ask for in a room.

Glad you enjoyed the vlog, I’m always a bit wary because I really have to amp the volume up so I can be heard.
Josh, yes it was you, you are the only Josh in my life! Heh, you’d be welcome to visit, there isn’t too much to do in these parts, but can be fun to chill.
The wardrobe is cool, but damnably heavy and hard to shift around.
Dan, oh, this place is damn spiffy for Zombie defense, I’ve made sure of the strategy.

The majority of them are pictures I was working on and never got round to moving, there’s also programmes I rarely use and folders to works in progress. I need to kill of a few jobs and favours I do for people, then I can just archive the whole thing. That may be a task for today.
My Start Menu looks much worse though.
Software annoys me, in that nothing does everything. I love using Google website to chat, but if I want to voice or video, I have to load up Google Talk and the other person has to run it too. Skype offers voice, video and you can run video conference, but I’m not a fan of the software. Pidgin allows me to combine all my IM accounts, but doesn’t offer any form of non-text communication and I’m never quite sated by it. MSN, just isn’t what I’m used to…I’d probably through MSN in the background to chat verbally and send messages through Google.

I’d make the inappropriate comment about your bat, but I know you’ve heard it. So I move onto another subject, which is:
I envy your floor space. XP
My friend uses MSN for the vid, and something else for chatting, so I know its doable to mix an’ match. I like my iChat tho. ^^ My icons rock.

First off, BIG apologies for taking this long to finally respond to this. I feel especially shitty since you actually gave me a shout out on the thing and said I was the inspiration. I’m actually pretty flattered! Work’s been kicking my ass the last few weeks and I’ve gotten way behind on all my blogging stuff, so I’m taking tonight to finally get caught up and do some writing on mine as well. But yeah, I’m so jazzed I made my way into one of the infamous Guise blogs. Talk about a groovy thing!
Oh, and I’m digging the floor space too. Good job on that. And I like the alternating red and black sheets. Snazzy.

I really enjoy your Vlogs Guise!
Like a more an all access pass into your world.
When I eventually make it to England, which I’ve been planning on doing for years now, I know where I’ll be stopping.
Also, I have that same wardrobe, I feel like we’re in a secret club, now we need a secret handshake.
