Halloween 2008: Upcoming Event?
I’ve put this to a couple of my fellow bloggers and friends already, but thought this might be a fun concept to get as many people involved in as possible.
The Halloween season sees a lot of our favourite characters and creatures coming out to play, and for a short time we get to revel in the spirit and atmosphere that surrounds them, but do we ever really feel like we are experiencing them?
I suggest that on October 13th we choose to relish in the life of a horror movie, most notably that of a zombie movie. For one day I suggest we all write our own stories (or journal, letter, vlog, etc) about living in the wake of a zombie epidemic.
Were you there at an outbreak site? Are you a survivor, infected or worse? Are you safely tucked away out of town?
Doesn’t even have to be you, if you choose to write a general zombie story, then that’s peachy too.
As we are all in the same boat together, let’s make it the same place too:

Like I told you yesterday Guise I think this is an awesome idea and I’m hoping the rest of the regulars are as excited about this as I am! I hope the rest of you contribute to this because I’d love to read your take on a situation like this. Personally I’m working on my story now!

Thanks Bill! If Matt can afford to send across the globe, and customs doesn’t freak about strange powders, I’ll be framing it alongside captures from the video and of me drinking it. Oh yes, it would get drunk, even outdated, because Kool-Aid does not exist here.
Oh, and I slotted a link to the video in the X-E comments, but if the Kool-Aid comes through, I’ll post it for bragging rights!
