I found I’ve stopped caring what I write and just go w/ my gut. The huge twins article was ons of fun and totally spur of the moment. I just wish I had an ounce of the wit and humor that Matt or Guise has when tackling reviews. So, Dan, anything you choose is totally awesome anyway! I like your writing style. GIve into the ramble!
I like all you guys who come around here. Not quite a forum, not quite chatting. Its fun. ^^

Guise thank you for the compliment, I’m always self conscious about what I write because while it may be entertaining to me I worry that other people will find it boring or rambling.

And if I were in the area I’d meet you for a pint at the pub or come over to watch tv with you anytime, we’d have a blast!

Dio, I’m too much of a fan of your art, your blog and you to give an unbiased comment here about it. Ever since the X-E Advent Calendar I was hooked to your work and the little insights in to your mind, something I am extremely grateful for. If people haven’t checked them out, they should, because they are excellent – from wit to cuteness and back again, it’s all cool! I’m always fond of the Animal Crossing styles, especially with the gaming themes…but the recent Lucas kick is so cute!

I could go on, but most everyone here probably already knows the degree’s of your groovitude…

Ringy, glad you found your way over here and that you are still reading, but never fear about making comments – everyone here is pretty darn cool to amazingly spiffy.

DJ D, if you get a digital camera get one with a rechargable lithium battery pack, because the amount of batteries I go through without one is totally insane.

doho, I totally know what you mean. I’ve got a really great idea for another blog that I want to do like 2 blogs from now but it’s entirely dependent upon getting a camera, and as I can’t really afford a decent one now I’m going to have to put it on the back burner. Sucks.

Dio, Yeah, I will admit to stealing from Guise’s blogroll too to put mine together cause it’s a such a comprehensive list.

I’ll check out this Paul Merton. People keep describing my work these days and I keep thinking “yes, bingo! Yatzee! that’s how I look at it too.” I’m kind of fatigued with just words though, I was going to start one of three giant articles last night and I ended up scrapping them all because I don’t have the proper computer to work with DVDs and videos. Plus I still need a camera and getting that has been delayed till possibly Fall. It’s put a sudden strain and writer’s block on me.

Things are going to be quite on my end for a while.

Dan, one of the things I like best about your blog is actually how much opinion on movies and stuff we have in common and I really enjoy the insights you've given before about childhood. It really makes me think back to my childhood and where some things are the same, but quite a bit has a huge gap because of our cultures and the basic geography - a prime example I've cited before is your visit to Toys R Us, to a lot of kids from my area, that may as well have been the other end of the earth, despite the fact it was probably an hour and a half drive for parents. I like to have that comparison, even if there's a tinge of envy that my nostalgia will never be as nostalgic as an american of the roughly similar time. One of the things I'd like to point out to anyone else reading this at anytime, is that our Dan here is a really nice guy too, he's the sought of person who I would call up to see if he wanted a few drinks down the pub or come to watch something on TV. He's devoted and loyal, and he evokes an aura of trust that makes him very easy to talk to. He's good fun to talk to and you can really have interesting conversations with him. Doho, you know even when you are serious you make me laugh. The reference may be lost on you, but I consider some of the stuff that you come up with a bit like watching the TV sketch series put out by Paul Merton. At times things seem slightly absurd or surreal, but then it's balanced out by sudden flashes of extremely well-thought detailed analysis. Suffice to say, your blog carries that over perfectly, though with a lot more of the deep insight. DJ D, thanks man, that means a lot to me. I was really glad when you set up the Wordpress, partially because I never go to MySpace these days, and also because I got to read that '3 Groovy Things' post, which I have to say was really fun. I'm very glad I got to know you through X-E, and I really appreciate when you drop comments here, because I know they'll be well worth the read. One of these days I am going to time my waking hours to catch more than just the last few seconds of the show after yours! JoshC, firstly welcome back to the internet and here, missed seeing you around on X-E after the Advent Calendar, so while you may have missed things on the 'net, the 'net missed you too. If anyone hasn't seen Josh's articles, then one I'd highly suggest (partially because it reminds me of trying to play with the damn thing) his piece on the "Super Scope 6", because if you have ever tried using it, you will know the frustrations and this will certainly bring all the memories flooding back.
