Well, congrats! Yeah, changing your routine kind of sucks, but the extra digits in the bank account can make up for it. My schedule isn’t exactly ideal at my job (I work nights Thurs-Sun), but I love my job, and the money’s much nicer since I recently got promoted, so it’s worth the sacrifice. I would imagine a DS would make the time go by much faster. I don’t have one myself but I’m sure it’s only a matter of time. Right now, I’m just looking forward to getting a PS3 and an iPod so I can listen to Podcasts and things at work. That would make life at work sooo much easier. I gotta set up an AIM account too so I can keep up with all you guys. Sorry I’ve been kind of absent around the blogging scene lately, but I’m doing some catching up tonight. Work’s just been crazy lately. Oh, and thanks for listening to my show, Guise (and everyone else)! It makes my time there that much better.

I’m hoping that they might let me shift hours at some point in the future, most other departments operate on flexible working hours and I miss that. I’d love to know if the place is in a WiFi zone though. I sat deleting years old text messages and stuff on my phone today, I’m such a hoarder.

I agree with Josh, get a DS. That way you can get Mario Kart or Pokemon and we can help you kill time on your lunch break! I know when I do find a job I’m gonna have a hard time getting back into the swing of things as well but sacrifices must be made right?

Ugh, Graveyard shifts are terrible. I worked one at a Gas Station for a few months.
Congratulations on the job, and as for the lunch break, get a DS they’re a lifesaver for killing time.
