I’ve read a few places on the internet that comment about how crazy the security systems and puzzles are in the Resident Evil games when dealing with the research facilities and other workplaces of the Umbrella Corporation.
The most common examples of the perceived insanity tend to include the train with brake systems that require [...]

Arkham Countdown! Arkham Countdown! Arkham Countdown! Arkham Countdown!
Sho: HI!! So, um, Dugal told me I should do an intro today to start this special week off. I’m kinda nervous, but he said it should be…
Guise: Sho…hey…what’s going on?
Sho: Hey, I’m here to introduce the first blog of the week.
Guise: …and you are dressed in a [...]

In a not-so-secret lab in Scotland, scientists have seen the first results of a program to breed a covert bio-weapon. One ‘asset’ is capable of killing 200 using a highly honed death touch. Just what is Scotlands plan for these bio-weapons and what are our hopes for survival?

What makes people think I’ve been spending too much time playing Earthbound Zero?

Because I love the concept so much, I’m going to steal an opening in the style of Dio’s Random Lunacy blog. Those who have known me a while will be familiar with most of the names and personalities of these ‘aspects’ of mine. Those who don’t, too bad.

I don’t have a Wii, but I now have a pre-order for a copy Super Smash Bros. Brawl when it releases on the 27th.
The only downside, the 27th is not a Saturday, it’s a Friday.
I likely won’t be able to camp out overnight, my face pressed againt the window of GAME making clouds [...]

One of my favourite tropes in horror and thriller productions – be it in a
film, television show or even video game – is the use of Creepy Little Children.
Granted, this has at times been overdone, especially where companies try to
reproduce the success of a story in either a shoddily made sequel or rival
product, however amongst [...]

I found out that GAME in the town centre were having a sale, and it included the Guild Wars expansions Factions and Nightfall. So, I went in and got both.
Now I just need time to play them. I still haven’t finished the Prophecies campaign, only up to Ring of Fire or so.

Why, yes. Yes, I have been enviously eyeing up Xbox 360 gamers and that little zombie killfest game called Dead Rising. Yes, I would like to spend time playing it, whoring over it. No, I would not like to spend the £300+ just to get the system and game.

So, yesterday, Tink got Guild Wars, a source ofmuch joy because of increased stalking ability it is a fun game and everyone can hang out there.
This, in some way, led to a Skype-fest at night. In my case, first with Scott, then Sarah joined and finally Tony (Iron). I actually got to test [...]

Last night started off ok, after finding a Rune of Superior Absorption which sold for 75,000 gold I managed to get both my Drakescale Armour for when I pass into Ring of Fire and my set of Fur-Lined Armour for the rest of Shiverpeaks, I also managed to help Savayla Opri (Savvy)get her ever-so-spiffy Elementalist [...]

I took Guise through to Post-Searing in Guild Wars, joining a Warrior/Monk to go through the Academy missions where we brutalised the other team and barely broke a sweat, granted I let the W/M get all mobbed up while I took long shots at the enemies while hitting several at a time with my Deathly [...]

Played some more as Guise this evening, and dammit if I didn’t miss the power of Kityan – not to mention miss watching a svelt posterior wiggle across my screen – Guise just is not that powerful. I reckon if I can get Vampiric Gaze in Post-Searing I will be happier. Guise has now :

After talking with Tink about her maybe grabbing a copy of Guild Wars I resolved to remake the Guise character, learning from my mistakes and feeding off my weapon strategy. I now know that I only need to learn the Ranger Skill Primaries and hunt to a decent level, before I start questing, and make [...]
